I'm going to have to pull the rifle out of the safe and see what the issue is. Appears there is a hair too much metal on the bayonet just behind the ring which contact the muzzle device as it is slipping on that prevents the bayonet from moving rearward just the last little ...It is designed to work with the AKM/AK-74 pattern bayonet. However, I’ve found bayonet fit to be finicky. My Arsenal SLR-104 and SLR-107 only worked with Bulgarian bayonets. It didn’t work Yugo, Polish, not East German. The AK-101 (5.56x45mm) and AK-74M (5.45x39mm) have the exact same brake as the AK-74.
